LWCAD created with idea to enhance LightWave with precise toolset for curve modeling with snap to point ability. It adds to your modeler 26 plugins which expand the potential of your favorite program in several categories:
- Snap Modify Toolset for snap to point operations which supplements all basic modify tools.
- Curve Primitives Set of basic 2d curve based primitives.
- Edit Curves Set of basic curve edit operations.
- Convert Curves Tools for poly-curve conversions and curve detail adjustment.
- Shape Library Editable 1d and 2d library with pattern tools.
LWCAD is mainly targeted to Architects and Artists who make a massive scenes of the towns with infrastructure, the buildings with the detailed ground plan and overall the objects with a complex 2d base. If you need to do a small town infrastructure with the roads and sidewalks, it could be very fast work now. With the tools like a curve offset, pattern1d and pattern2d, your productivity will soar. |

This plugin, mainly for professional 3D camera tracking, also has ability to remove “shaky” movement of video sequences. For specific group of users of Softimage|XSI, a man called Helge Mathee become one of those guys you feel great respect for him. He made a thread on xsibase.com, where he literally asked people what they want. Thanks to this cooperation, XSI users have great toolbox, called MindthinkTools Collection, made by Helge, which can be accessed by pop-up window in XSI. Inside of it you will find tools like Array, Spherisize, Solidfy, L-systems, mine favorite Scatter (similar to 3dsmax's tool) and even an After Effects export. Highly recomended!
